Guess we got the frost we needed to get the leaves to fall. My yard looks terrible. I’ll be glad to see them mowed up and be ready for the winter.

These items will be for two weeks as some were left out last week.

Jack and Sylvia Tucker, Les and Jean Martindale, Carroll Tucker and Pam went to eat at Cotton-Eyed Joe’s in Noel one evening recently. They were celebrating Carroll’s birthday. Happy birthday, Carroll. Hope you have many more.

Clifton Tucker of Bella Vista came by and visited me for a short time last week. It’s always good to have him come by.

Tracy Warren, Katherine Tucker and other family members attended funeral services in Springdale for Bill Cook. Survivors are his wife Julie (Chism) Cook, son Billy Cook, his dad, two brothers and two sisters. Sympathy is extended to the family.

The Thanksgiving dinner the Maysville E.H. Club holds each year before Thanksgiving will be this Saturday evening, Nov. 16, at 6 p.m. at the community building. The club does theturkeys, hams, potatoes, dressing, bread and drinks. Bring a side dish and enjoy the evening, This is to show our appreciation for the support we receive to help maintain the building. Everyone is invited.

My granddaughter, Tracy Warren, took me out to eat at Whole Hog between Bentonville and Rogers. I enjoyed it and got to see another granddaughter, Katie Martin, who works there. It’s always good to spend time with grandchildren.

Shelly Bishop visited her grandparents, Jack and Sylvia Tucker, one day last week. She gave her grandmother a permanent, then they visited which they enjoyed.

Gary and Helen Chism, my great-grandson Billy Cook, Matt and Karla Ballmann and Jacob visited me one day last week and ate supper with me. I enjoyed that.

Gerald Tucker of Gentry visited Jack and Sylvia Tucker one day last week. They said it was a surprise but they sure did enjoy it.

Carroll Tucker and Pam visited Jack and Sylvia Tucker one day last week. They always enjoy the time together.
