Bank of Gravett employees honored

GRAVETTE -- A retirement party was held Jan. 31 at the Bank of Gravett to honor two long-time employees, Mae Bates and Nola Linn.

Bates retired as an assistant cashier and had served in the new accounts area, note department and as an administrative loan assistant during her 23 year career with BOG. Linn's 20 years of service was as a "well-loved front line teller at the Main Street and motor bank locations in Gravette," said marketing director Debbie Strickland.

Employees provided a potluck luncheon in the break room and, that afternoon, the bank hosted a lobby reception where friends, family and customers dropped in to offer well wishes. They also received monetary gifts for their years of loyal service to their customers and the community.
