Maysville News

By Katherine Tucker

What a change in the weather! Sure seems like spring today. I'm sure there will be more winter weather even though February is half gone.

Sylvia Tucker visited Dan Marshall and his daughter Linda for a while Sunday afternoon. She said Dan was asleep but she and Linda had a good visit.

Dan Marshall is home after spending several days in the Gravette hospital. He was able to come to church Sunday morning.

Patti King of Lowell visited her parents, Jack and Sylvia Tucker, one day last week. They always enjoy her visit and she enjoys the time with them.

There is a women's Bible study each Tuesday evening at 7 p.m. in the home of Jan Janes. She says women of the community are welcome to come. There's several of them who get together. It is an enjoyable evening.

Those who went to Cotton-Eyed Joe's to eat Saturday evening were Jack and Sylvia Tucker, Les and Jean Martindale, Carroll Tucker and Pam. They were celebrating February birthdays which included Jack, Les and Jean. Happy birthday to all of you. Hope all have many more.

Even though Maysville voters have to go to Gravette to vote their attendance was really good in the election held on the ambulance. There was a good turnout for all which was good.
