Gravette's chamber banquet set Feb. 13

GRAVETTE -- The Greater Gravette Chamber of Commerce (GGCC) will hold its first annual banquet Thursday, Feb. 13, at Horton Farms, 15772 Bethlehem Road, southeast of Gravette. The event, from 6 to 9 that evening, will include a catered dinner, networking and entertainment, guaranteeing a pleasant evening, said Morgan Black, spokesperson for GGCC.

Horton Farms is a popular meeting/activity facility which has catered Gravette High School proms and, recently, the Gravette Library Gala.

Tickets for the banquet are $30 per person and may be purchased at the Ozarks Community Hospital in Gravette, at the Bank of Gravett and Arvest Bank. Tables for eight may be reserved for $200. RSVPs are due no later than Feb. 7. Black noted entree selection should be reserved when tickets are purchased.

All members of the community are invited and welcome to attend. Nonmembers who purchase two plates will receive a free 2014 GGCC membership.

Black explained, "During the year the GG Chamber hosts the Gravette Days celebration, participates in community events, supports the school district and stays involved in many other activities throughout the area.

"It is involved in growth of the community and its aim is to add new members who can bring their thoughts and ideas (to the organization)," she added.

The organization meets the third Wednesday of each month at 11:30 in the Ozarks Community Hospital basement meeting room. Your participation is invited and welcome. For information, call 787-8998 or visit [email protected], Black said.
