Jaye Chalk chosen as basketball homecoming queen in Gravette

GRAVETTE -- Jaye Chalk, Gravette senior, was crowned queen at Gravette's basketball homecoming coronation ceremonies in the competition gym on Friday night. Princesses were seniors Kayla Kardynalski and Sydney Hicks.

Also participating in Friday night's ceremonies were: Zoe Betz, Palmer Pittman, Addie Long, Kyleigh Bird, Darlene McVay, freshman maid Johanna Day, sophomore maid Ashlee Newburn, junior maid Katherine Hayes, senior maid Amanda Pinter, senior maid Caitlyn Payne, junior maid Megan Harlin, sophomore maid Kendall Yarbrough, freshman maid Brooklyn Lykins, escorts Chris Childress, Kelton Trembly, Seth Duke, Trace Crawford, Tyler Kardynalski, Aaron Kardynalski, Alex Fink, T.J. Kardynalski, Tanner Pike, Thomas Reynolds, Jackson Soule', Trevor Pierce, Dayten Wishon and Bailey Soule'.

After each princess was announced and given flowers, Chalk was introduced as queen and crowned by her escorts, Tanner Pike and Thomas Reynolds. She received the ceremonial kiss and the entire group posed for photos on the basketball court before the Friday-night ballgames began.
