DECATUR -- Open enrollment for pre-kindergarten and kindergarten for Decatur Public Schools for the 2019-2020 school year will be held Thursday, May 2, and Friday, May 3, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Both enrollments will take place at Decatur Northside Elementary, located at 9083 Mt. Olive Road.
Requirements for kindergarten enrollment are: the child must be 5 years old on or before Aug. 1, 2019, a birth certificate, up-to-date immunization record, current physical, Social Security number (or the school can use a state-assigned waiver number).
Requirements for pre-K enrollment are: the child must be 3 or 4 years old on or before Aug. 1, 2019, proof of residency, proof of income, birth certificate, Social Security number (or the school can use a state-assigned waiver number), current physical, up-to-date immunization record.
