Gravette's Keegan Bulza, Gentry's Zach Jarnagan and Decatur's Desi Meek have been nominated for Spring Sports Player of the Week.

Decatur's senior track star Desi Meek had another outstanding meet April 4 when she brought home four gold medals from the Mansfield Quad City meet in Mansfield. Meek is one of the top female track athlete in the 2A conference and holds several state titles in both the 1A and 2A including two time 1A state winning in the 100m and 300m hurdles. Meek is a member of the volleyball, basketball, and cheer teams and a honor student at Decatur High School.

Keegan Bulza is the second baseman for the Gravette Lions varsity baseball team. Bulza made several outstanding plays during the Berryville and Bentonville West games including a double play in the Bentonville West game April 5. He is a freshman at Gravette High School.

At the Pea Ridge Invitational Track Meet April 4, Gentry sophomore Zach Jarnagan took first in long jump with a jump of 20 feet, seven inches. He also took gold in the triple jump, clearing 42 feet, 11 inches. Jarnagan finished fifth in the 100-meter run with a time of 11.80.
