GENTRY -- Presslie Murphy 11, from Huntington, Texas, and Graycie Wright-Dillard, 10, of Gentry, had a lemonade stand Friday on Gentry's Main Street and took donations for the Gentry animal shelter. They ended up raising $400.
They used $200 to buy dog food and treats from Curran's feed store (Rob Curran gave them a huge discount when he found out what they were doing and they ended up with 800 pounds of dog food for the shelter.
The other $200 they gave to Mark Smithson, Gentry's animal control officer, to use toward spaying and neutering the dogs they have at the kennel.
