BENTONVILLE -- "My truck hasn't been washed in two years; do your best!" said the first customer of the day to the group of Decatur High School students as they prepared to wash their first car of the day.

The Decatur students were part of the Bulldog Cheer Team's annual car wash fundraiser event July 9 at McLarty Daniels Ford in Bentonville. Proceeds from the event will go toward new equipment and contest entry fees.

While some of the team stood next to Walton Blvd. holding up handmade "Carwash" signs, the rest of the group got wet washing the cars.

Unlike the now-familiar car commercial where a family of dogs pulls into a Bulldog car wash fundraiser and are literally met by real bulldogs that only clean the bottom half of the car (the rest is out of reach), these Bulldogs cleaned the whole car, making them sparkle like new and making for happy customers.
