Gentry girls off to slow start

GENTRY -- The Lady Pioneers are off to a slow start on the soccer field. The girls have dropped games to Stilwell (Okla.), Shiloh Christian and Huntsville.

Against Stilwell on Feb. 25 in Gentry, the Lady Pioneers allowed their opponents to score five goals in the first half and another in the second, in the 6-0 loss.

The Lady Saints scored two in each half for a 4-0 win over the Lady Pioneers on Saturday. In a second game on Saturday, Gentry fell to Huntsville, 3-0.

The Gentry girls are scheduled to host Harrison at 5 p.m. on Thursday.
