Gravette schools to hold groundbreaking ceremony

GRAVETTE -- Area residents are invited to attend a groundbreaking ceremony hosted by the Gravette School District at 10 a.m. Friday, March 15. The ceremony will be held on the site of the new Gravette High School gymnasium.

"The groundbreaking ceremony is the kickoff of the construction projects approved by the voters last May," said Richard Page, superintendent of Gravette Public Schools. It will commemorate the beginning of construction for the Gravette High School gymnasium, Career Center, Gravette Middle School and Glenn Duffy Elementary remodel projects.

The ceremony will include remarks from Superintendent Page and from Tracy Moorman, president of the Gravette School Board.

Gravette School Board members; architects Mike Speath and Clay McGill with BiLD Architects; and Robert Adams, construction manager from Crossland Construction Company, will also be present.
