Gravette's Sally Bird, Decatur's Kevin Garcia and Gentry's Peyton Wright have been nominated for the Spring Sports Player of the Week.
Sally Bird of Gravette finished first in the triple jump, 400, 800, and 4X400 relay at the Elkins Relays on Thursday, March 7th.
Decatur's Kevin Garcia was named a nominee for player of the week. Garcia is credited for a win against the Watts, Okla. Engineers on Friday, the first game of the 2019 baseball season. Garcia is a sophomore at Decatur High School and was also a member of the Decatur Bulldog basketball team."
Gentry catcher Peyton Wright is batting .692 with 11 RBI's.
