Lions Live and Learn program set for Saturday

GRAVETTE -- Members of the Gravette Lions Club will hold their second Live and Learn program from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, at the Gravette Civic Center.

The Live and Learn program brings together many great presenters with a wide assortment of program topics. Those who attend will be able to choose from a dozen different informative 45-minute classes. They will be able to learn about the stars in our fall skies, history, photography, Arkansas native plants, wildlife, music, fly fishing, model railroading and more.

"Live and Learn provides a fun-filled opportunity for the entire family to learn about history, science, nature, or maybe find a new hobby," said Jeff Davis, treasurer of the Gravette club.

Classes will all take place at the Civic Center, located at 405 Charlotte Street S.E., this Saturday alone. There are no fees for any of the programs and no preregistration is required. A brochure, listing names and descriptions of the classes, is available from many area merchants.
