GENTRY -- At Gentry Middle School, Kim Edmondson's eighth-grade science class and the advanced seventh-grade science class have both spent the past few weeks studying the "History of Earth" unit. This includes topics such as rock layers, strata, fossils, geologic time scale, eras, etc.

The students used their knowledge about the history of earth to complete a unit cumulative project. They were to create a game that depicts a trip through geologic time, often escaping from carnivorous dinosaurs, skirting around treacherous tar pits, or avoiding other relevant obstacles.

Many students went above and beyond, using creativity and excitement, to make amazing games. Ms. Edmondson is so proud of their hard work and dedication in making this a successful end-of-unit project.
