Lady Pioneers sweep Life Way, swept by Pea Ridge

GENTRY -- The Lady Pioneers hosted the Lady Blackhawks of Pea Ridge on Thursday and suffered a three-match sweep in the conference contest on the volleyball court.

Though Gentry played strong and held the point advantage at times, the Pea Ridge girls proved too much for Gentry and swept the match, 25-17, 25-14 and 25-17.

Against Life Way Christian on Tuesday, Sept. 3, scores were close but the Gentry varsity girls swept the non-conference match, 25-23, 25-18 and 25-21.

The Lady Pioneers were scheduled to travel to Gravette on Tuesday (after press time) to face the Lady Lions.
