Three will be vying for homecoming queen title in Gravette ceremonies Friday in Lion Stadium

GRAVETTE -- It's homecoming week in Lion Territory, and this week features numerous related events in Gravette, including the game and a parade on Friday.

Vying for the title of homecoming queen at ceremonies before Friday night's game in Lion Stadium are seniors Madison McDaniel, Abby Olvera and Alex Sumrall. The crowning ceremonies are scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m.

The homecoming court is made up of kindergarteners Berkley Jarvis, Brinley Vore, Josie McKinzie and Micah Hartman; cheerleaders Katie Keith and Timmie Betz: freshman maids Mayci Johnson and Alyssa Brassfield; sophomore maids Sydney Houghton and Alyssa Holland, junior maids Aubrey Gebhart and Keeli Moore; senior maids Julia Matteson and Lexxi Vahle; escorts Ian Drake, Carlos Fernandez, Caleb Brown, River Soule, Isaac Dann, Mason Dagley, Trenton Durham, Haydan Olson, Josh Sandavol, Cordell Donell, Blake Seibert, Nick Pilkington, Wyatt Coffelt and Paul Ehrhart.

Other homecoming events on Friday include the homecoming parade at 10 a.m., the homecoming luncheon for students involved in the festivities at noon, a pep rally in Lion Stadium at 2 p.m.; and homecoming photos in Old Town Park at 4:30 p.m. The game against the Lincoln Wolves is set to begin at 7 p.m. on Friday.
