DECATUR -- The Decatur School District announced July 30 that classes for both on-site and virtual are scheduled to begin Aug. 24.
Parents will have the option of choosing either a blended learning option or a virtual learning option.
The blended option offers students on-site instruction established in a digital format allowing for a rapid transition to virtual learning should the covid-19 pandemic require a shutdown of on-site instruction.
The virtual option is online, learning from home, with rare instances of on-campus classes in emergency situations.
