Class of 1990 plans 30-year reunion

GRAVETTE -- The Gravette High School Class of 1990 is making plans to hold its 30-year reunion on Gravette Day weekend. Members invite everyone who was in the class at any time during their 12 years of school to attend.

"It will be a casual weekend with lots of visiting and reminiscing," said Heather Barnwell Finley.

The weekend will start with dinner on the patio of Hiwasse Country Store Friday evening, Aug. 7. The dinner is scheduled from 7 to 10 p.m. and guests can order food from the menu. Beer and wine will be available.

Class members plan to ride in the parade on Saturday, Aug. 8. The lineup will be at 11:30 a.m. in the old gym parking lot. Paul Keith will have a truck and trailer for participants to ride on.

Following the parade, a catered lunch, beginning at 1:30 p.m., will be served at the Hiwasse Community Room and Park. The community room has been remodeled and is air-conditioned. Those planning to attend are asked to respond with the number who will be coming. Please bring your yearbooks and class photos to share.

Heather asks that everyone share reunion information with classmates who are not on Facebook. She requests that class members RSVP to her, Heather Barnwell, by calling 479-366-3778 or emailing [email protected]. Anyone who has questions may also contact her.
