Gentry library open by appointment only

Internet signal access will remain available outside the building

GENTRY -- Due to concerns related to the covid-19 virus, Gentry Public Library will be closed except by appointment for essential services such as internet and computer access for work, personal finances and the U.S. Census until April 1, when the situation will be reassessed.

During this time, any patron under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Appointments can be scheduled by calling the library at 479-736-2054.

Due to the lack of availability of hand sanitizers and disinfectants, patrons who visit the library are asked to bring their own.

All library programs will be canceled during this time period. All materials currently checked out will become due on April 1, with no late fees applied. Items may also be returned via the dropbox on the west side of the library building.

Patrons are encouraged to check out ebooks and audiobooks through Overdrive. Instructions are on the library's website at https://gentrylibrary.us.

Internet access will remain available up to 25-feet away from the outside of the library so that patrons may continue to access the internet by parking or sitting outside. No password is required.
