Tired Iron Show Canceled

Tired Iron of the Ozarks antique engine and tractor club has canceled its spring show, normally held in April, due to the coronavirus pandemic. The club hopes to be able to hold its fall show in September.

Singing service canceled

Falling Springs Church's first Friday singing planned for April 3 has been canceled. Bro. David is using the Fallings Springs Church Facebook page for Sunday and Wednesday services.

Decatur Alumni cancel banquet

The Decatur High School Alumni Association announced that the biennial banquet originally scheduled for April 18 in the old high school gym (community room at City Hall) has been postponed until next fall. The date of the rescheduled banquet will be announced at a later date.

First Baptist Food Pantry

First Baptist Church, located at 213 E. Roller Ave. in Decatur, holds a community food pantry on the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month, from 3:30 to 5 p.m. For more information, contact the church at 479-282-6658.

GFA Food Pantry

GFA Pantry Inc. at the Gentry Assembly is open from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Tuesdays. The church partners with the NWA Food Bank and Rural Compassion to receive food to be given away, including canned goods, fresh vegetables, bread, milk and dairy products, eggs and meats. Other items such as toilet paper, shampoo, cleaning products and baby supplies are also available as supplies last. Clients are asked to call for an appointment.
