Critical violations are those factors leading to food-borne illness and must be corrected immediately. Noncritical violations relate to the maintenance of food operations and cleanliness.

Noncritical violations: Posted retail food permit has expired.

Gentry Intermediate School

Critical violations: Employee went from checking students in on the computer to putting on a glove and then handling food items without washing hands first.

Noncritical violations: Gaskets torn on the three-door refrigerator. Condensation leak in the walk-in freezer. Ice buildup on shelves below the area.

Handy Mart

Critical violations: Eggs stored on the floor of the walk-in fridge. Gravy for biscuits and gravy in walk-in fridge, no time date stamp, at 71 degrees in large covered metal pan. Potato wedges at 122 degrees in hot hold unit and should be at 135 degrees or above. Ham, sausage, tomato, green pepper, 58 degrees, in the cold hold pizza prep unit and should be kept at 41 degrees or below. Raw chicken, sausage, bacon and ham in the walk-in fridge not date marked. Unmarked spray bottle on top of cold hold. Wiping cloths shall be used as intended. No covid-19 signage, employees not taking temperatures, no masks being worn, drinks fountain open but no signage, being used normally without masks, gloves or sanitizer.

Harps Deli-Bakery

Critical violations: Employee changed tasks and did not wash hands prior to putting on clean gloves. Cooked egg patties in the reach-in cooler at 70 degrees. Cold chicken and chicken strips in the customer grab and go case are not at 41 degrees or below. Deli meats are not at 41 degrees or below. The left side of the cold display case is not holding food at 41 degrees or below.

Critical violations: Prepackaged bags of cut cabbage price reduced stored at room temperature. Package marked perishable. Keep refrigerated.

Critical violations: Chicken strips and gizzards in the bottom of the hot case are not at 135 degrees or above. Deli Express prepackaged sandwiches and burritos not date marked with use-by date. Repeat violation. Sausage/egg biscuits and sausage biscuits in prep table not date marked as needed. Repeat violation.

Noncritical violations: Broken thermometer in the hot case. Food workers not wearing hair restraints in food preparation area. Water leaking from the ceiling in both walk-in coolers. Customers entering the facility with no face covering and employees are not asking them to put on a face covering. Employee engaging with customers was wearing mask below nose. One employee has a medical exemption. Self-serve lids and condiments available for customers to handle. Facility has push button or handle dispensing units and should be cleaned frequently.

Miss Mary's

Critical violations: Food items not date marked as needed. Coleslaw, baked potato salad exceed the manufacturer's use-by date.

Noncritical violations: Ceiling and ceiling vents in the kitchen are visibly dirty.
