Vote against taxes, limit senators to one term

Editor,

First off, the voting is trying to get us to pass a bill to pay taxes and more taxes. This they say is a way to get highway-transportation- money.

So, every time you go to Walmart, Harps, any store, you are paying taxes to get roads fixed. Please vote against this. This money we are already paying, and it goes until 2023. Hey, in three years, they can figure out something new, don't give them carte blanche chance to take more taxes from us. My dad always said to vote against taxes, he was so right. And because we are paying ten percent everywhere we shop already. Don't give the legislature, or whoever is doing this, the money for the next 50 years. Let your kids vote to figure out their own monies. When you vote for this, it is permanent. Never can be taken away. So, please read this, and listen to reason.

Also, I think we should vote out any senator who is trying to get voted back in. They have had their 8-10 years already, vote them out. We have an eight-year time for a president, and sometimes I think that is too long. The senators and legislature, should NOT be allowed to be in more than the time of the president. They are just taking your money, forgetting to attend the votes when they need to be there. Give someone else a chance to be our Senators/etc. Maybe we need to make a bill to make it where they can't be in there more than eight years. I firmly believe they should have term limits. Someone needs to start a term limits bills for our senators. No one has been worth a darn since John Paul Hammerschmidt.
