Windstorm causes tree damage in Westfield subdivision

Yellow warning tape encircles the yard at the home of Josh and Tabby Crane on the corner of Dallas Street S.E. and Westfield Street in Gravette. A sudden rain and windstorm blew up late Friday afternoon and snapped a whole row of trees in the Crane's front yard. The Crane home is just north of Pop Allum Park.

This large tree in the front yard split during a brief rain and windstorm late Friday afternoon and the east half fell on the Jarvis home, causing some minor roof damage. Jarvis has lived in the home about five years.
