Windstorm causes tree damage in Westfield subdivision

Westside Eagle Observer/SUSAN HOLLAND Yellow warning tape encircles the yard at the home of Josh and Tabby Crane on the corner of Dallas Street S.E. and Westfield Street in Gravette. A sudden rain and windstorm blew up late Friday afternoon and snapped a whole row of trees in the Crane's front yard. The Crane home is just north of Pop Allum Park.

This large tree in the front yard split during a brief rain and windstorm late Friday afternoon and the east half fell on the Jarvis home, causing some minor roof damage. Jarvis has lived in the home about five years.
