GRAVETTE -- Ozarks Community Hospital will be administering covid-19 vaccines on Thursday, May 6, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The vaccines are free of charge to anyone age 18 or older. The hospital encourages interested persons to call ahead to reserve a spot, but walk-ins will be accepted as vaccine supply permits.

This is the sixth of the hospital's covid vaccine clinics. Second shots for persons previously receiving a covid shot will be administered in the morning and the afternoon will be devoted to persons receiving their first shots.

Melissa Bradley, assistant administrator for Ozarks Community Hospital, said, "It takes everyone's participation to combat covid-19. This virus has had a huge impact on our lives, our activities and our freedoms, but we now have a safe and effective tool to combat covid-19."

The hospital staff will be administering the Moderna vaccine.
