DECATUR -- After losing to the Lavaca Lady Golden Arrows on Sept. 16, the Decatur Lady Bulldog varsity and junior high teams were on the road to Mansfield for a match against the powerhouse Lady Tigers in the only contest of the week Sept. 21.
While the Lady Bulldogs played much better against Lavaca, the Lady Tigers quickly took control of the contest and ran away with the match 25-8, 25-5 and 25-7.
The junior high match was much closer but the Mansfield Lady Tigers still took the win in straight sets. No score was available at press time.
Both the varsity and junior high Lady Bulldogs continue their road trips with matches against the Ozark Catholic Academy Lady Griffins Monday, the Mulberry Lady Yellowjackets Tuesday and the Life Way Christian Lady Warriors on Thursday. All three matches were scheduled to start at 4:30 p.m. with the junior high A team.
