Students return to schools in Gentry

Students returned to schools in Gentry on Thursday and the opening days went smoothly, with the possible exception of long lines at the schools in the mornings and afternoons when students are dropped off and picked up by parents and family members. The line at the intermediate school extended east on West Second Street and then north on S. Giles Avenue on Friday afternoon just before students were released from classes for the weekend.
