Mary Alice Arneson
Mary Alice Arneson, 61, of Anderson, Mo., died Jan. 18, 2022, at Mercy Hospital in Rogers.
She was born Oct. 28, 1960, in Gravette, to Bruce Maxwell Douglas and Mary Orpha White Douglas. She was a 1979 graduate of Gravette High School and attended Bryan Institute in Tulsa, Okla., where she earned certification as a dental assistant in 1981. She worked several years as a dental assistant and later worked for Younglove Construction Company, McCormick Construction Company and Sports Wired.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Robert Douglas and Richard Douglas; and a nephew, Matt Douglas.
Survivors include her husband, Calvin Arneson, of the home; two stepdaughters, Jennifer Hansen of Reeds Spring, Mo., and Janette Ronk of Norfolk, Neb.; two sisters, Susan Holland and husband Jim, and Nancy Spradling and husband Marlin, both of Gravette; nephews, David Douglas, Mike Albright, Josiah Holland, Dustan Smith, Jason Smith; and nieces Melissa Birchett and Laura Propps.
Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 22, at Douglas Cemetery in Highfill with pastor Tim Estes officiating.
Arrangements were by Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs.
