Linda Marie Genn

Linda Marie Genn, 64, of Sulphur Springs, died peacefully at her home on Saturday, June 18, 2022, surrounded by loved ones.

She was born on Dec. 17, 1957, in Los Angeles, Calif. She graduated from McDonald County High School in the Class of 1976 and went on to have a successful supervisor career at Hudson Foods, Tysons, McKee and Simmons, before retiring in 2017. She married Rick Genn in May of 1980, and they settled in the small town of Sulphur Springs, recently celebrating 42 years of marriage.

She is preceded in death by her father, Marion Owens; three sisters, Janet Hayes, Karla Mathews and husband Sherman, Karen Sarggret; brother, David Mitchell and wife Anita; and brother-in-law, Robert Radtke.

Surviving are her husband; two daughters, Jessica Nichols and husband Brian Nichols of Seligman, Mo., Ashley Genn and fiance Tyler Shaver of Sulphur Springs; two granddaughters, Jada Nichols and Myra Williams; four sisters, Lois Whiteeagle and husband Jason, Mary Owens, Thelma Corriveau and husband Lenard, Margaret Radtke; four brothers, Daniel Owens and wife Melanie, Richard Owens and wife Marsha, Dale Owens, and Dennis Owens and wife Charlenia.

Visitation will be held Friday, July 1, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Bella Vista Funeral Home, 2258 Forest Hills Blvd. in Bella Vista.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, July 2, at 10 a.m., at Butler Creek Cemetery, 20385 State Line Road, Sulphur Springs.

Kathy Jo Wells

Kathy Jo Wells, 63, of Gravette, died June 21, 2022, at Regency Hospital in Springdale.

She was born in Gravette to Donald and Alice (Barnes) Wells on Dec. 30, 1958. She attended Gravette ISD and then later started her 30-plus years at Sam's Warehouse in the receiving department in Dallas, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her brother, Donald Wells and Cindy; sister, Barbara Kidd; children, CaShayla Garrett, Demesha Garrett-Pruitt, and Dochelle Garrett; grandchildren, Octavius, T'Niyah, Tayler, Dezare, Trinedy and Carrington.

Funeral services were at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 25, at the Bella Vista Funeral Home Chapel, 2258 Forest Hills Boulevard, Bella Vista. Visitation was from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, June 24, at the Bella Vista Funeral Home.
