Henry 'Hank' Edward Zimmer II
Henry "Hank" Edward Zimmer II, 59, of Gravette, died April 30, 2022, at Mercy Hospital in Rogers.
He was born Nov. 19, 1962, in Paducah, Ky., to Edward E. Zimmer and Bettie S. (McKelvey) Zimmer. He worked as both a security guard and truck driver throughout his career. He was also an organ and tissue donor through the Arkansas Regional Organ Recovery Agency. His donation will help many others waiting on the transplant list.
He was preceded in death by both parents; an aunt; and his longtime partner, Emily Gale.
He is survived by his sisters, Arletta Wallace and family of Gravette, and Dianna Gilbertson and family of Baldwin Wis.; his uncle, Solon McKelvey of Beeville, Texas; his stepbrother, Chandos Zimmer, and stepsister, Misty Zimmer, and their families of Paige, Texas; Emily's son, Alex Gale and family of New Harmony, Ind.
There will not be a memorial service. Instead, family and friends are encouraged to remember Hank's kindness to others and pay it forward.
