Pool to open Memorial Day weekend

GRAVETTE -- The Gravette pool and splash park is scheduled to open Memorial Day weekend, according to an announcement from city officials. Opening day will be Friday, May 27, for the popular community facility at 401 Charlotte Street S.E.

The attraction features a large pool with a diving board and twisty slide and an adjacent park of almost 3,000 square feet with several water features. Three large pavilions are available for shelter. The area was updated and completely remodeled in 2018.

Hours of operation will be 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 1 to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Admission will be $3 for children five and under and $5 for persons age six and older. Admission drops to half price from 5 to 7 p.m. and all day Sunday.

The facilities can be reserved for pool parties at a cost of $125 for up to 25 guests and $150 for more than 25 persons. The cost includes access to both the pool and splash park.

Families may purchase season passes for $120 for up to four people. $10 will be charged for each additional family member. Individual season passes may be purchased for $55.

Pool parties can be scheduled and season passes purchased at City Hall.
