Friends of Gravette library accept donation, hold ribbon cutting

Members of the Friends of the Gravette Public Library presented a check for $2,400 to library director Karen Benson Saturday afternoon at the Friends book sale room.

The donation, received from American Rescue Plan grant funds, will be used to buy hot spots for library patrons.

A ribbon cutting was held Saturday afternoon, Sept. 10, at the Friends book sale room, 407 Charlotte Street S.E.

The Friends are conducting book sales from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month and are taking orders until Sept. 17 for smoked chicken dinners to be picked up there Sept. 24.
