Misty Lynn Martin, 48, died on April 18, 2023.

She graduated from Gravette High School in 1992 and went on to John Brown University to earn a bachelor's degree in early childhood education. She was in her 27th year of teaching at Glenn Duffy Elementary as a kindergarten teacher and had touched many lives over the years. She loved being a mom, was involved in her children's 4-H and volunteered at the Benton County Fair. She cheered on the sidelines when her children showed livestock and played ball.

Misty was preceded in death by her mother, Joyce Martin, and her daughter, Hillary Harris.

She is survived by three children, Hannah, Hayden and Hailey Harris; her dad, James Martin and wife Pam Martin; brother, Eddie Martin; and soon-to-be son-in-law, Clayton Stark.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, April 28, at the Bella Vista Funeral Home, 2258 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 29, at the Gravette School District Volleyball Gym, 457 Seventh Ave. S.E., in Gravette.
