Jimmie Wayne Rich
Jimmie Wayne Rich, 46, of Decatur, died Sunday, Jan. 22, 2023, at his residence.
He was born Sept. 20, 1976, in Stillwell, Okla., to Joyce Crisp and James Rich. He was a lifetime resident of Northwest Arkansas. He enjoyed playing music, surfing, bike riding, camping, taking long walks, and traveling to National Parks. He loved photography and writing poetry. He built his own home from the ground up. He was a stay-at-home father to his children.
Jimmie is survived by his wife, Kristin Rich, whom he married Dec. 22, 2001; his mother, Joyce Perry and her husband Keith of Decatur; his father; James Rich and his wife Pat of Watts, Okla., two daughters, Lilly and Wren Rich of Decatur; one brother, Joseph Rich of Decatur; two sisters, Linda Scoufus and her husband Steve of Wellston, Okla., and Julia Hall and her husband Ryan of Greenwood.
A celebration of Jimmie's life was held on Friday, Jan. 27, at Victory Worship Center in West Siloam Springs, Okla.
