It’s homecoming week in Gravette

GRAVETTE -- It's basketball homecoming this week in Gravette, and special ceremonies are planned for 6 p.m. Friday in Lion Arena to crown a homecoming queen.

Queen candidates this year are Emma Bates, Rachel Deihl and Charlize Qualls.

In addition, the homecoming court will include senior maids Kelsey Pembleton and Lexi Jones, junior maids Daigen Deaton and Madison Lovell, sophomore maids Cadence Holland and Kenlee Harris, freshman maids Lillian Lunsford and Addison White, flower girls Paisley Busch, Ella Ray and Willow Weller.

Friday activities include an 11 a.m. luncheon for the basketball team, homecoming court, band, cheerleaders and student council; and a 2 p.m. pep rally. A dance with the theme of "Home, Sweet Homecoming" is planned for Saturday night from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Dress-up days are also planned this week at the school.
