Myrtle Todd Presley, 95, of Sulphur Springs, died Sunday, May 7, 2023, in her home.

Myrtle was a devout Christian, attending the Donivan church for many years. She was a school bus driver, a baseball coach, a square dancer and a good cook. She loved to get together with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Divida Dunfee; her husbands, Clayton Todd and Bill Presley; her two daughters, Thelma and Shirley Todd. She was the eldest of five siblings, who also preceded her in death.

She is survived by daughter Nona (Lawrence) Weaver of Houston, Texas, and son, Dwight "Butch" Todd of Sulphur Springs; grandchildren, Larry (Cathy) Weaver of Houston, Danny (Anita) Todd of Springfield Mo. and Melissa (Madden) Waits of Highfill; six great-grandchildren; and 18 great-great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held at the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, May 12. Funeral services will be held at the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Chapel in Siloam Springs at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 13, with Pastor Jamie Cope officiating. Burial will follow at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Hiwasse.
