GRAVETTE -- The Lady Lions have powered through the state playoffs to face their regional playoff challenger, the Lady Hawks of Pea Ridge. The game was to be played Monday, after the press deadline for the Eagle Observer.

Gravette 7, Nashville 6

Keeley Elsea's walk-off home run in the bottom of the seventh allowed Gravette (21-2) to advance to the semifinals.

Elsea finished with three hits for the Lady Lions, who watched as Nashville (20-12-1) tied the game at 6-6 by scoring four runs in the sixth. Laney Chilton added four runs batted in, including a three-run single in the second inning.

Landyn Tompkins had two hits, including her 10th home run of the year, for the Scrapperettes. Gabby Williams ended with two hits as well.

Gravette 8, Bauxite 2

Laney Chilton had three hits, including a pair of home runs, as Gravette (22-2) muscled its way to the state title game.

Chilton also scored three times and finished with five runs batted in for the Lady Lions, who pushed across five runs in the second inning to open up a lead. Brooke Handle and Sydney Kildow also combined to allow two hits in the game.

M.J. Bermingham and Skylar Hoyt scored runs for Bauxite (26-6).

Pea Ridge 5, Ashdown 2

Emory Bowlin, Zaylee Warden and Rebecca Konkler had two hits each to push Pea Ridge (20-10) past the Pantherettes.

Ashdown (19-6) grabbed a 1-0 lead after the first inning after a run-scoring single from Karielle Forbes before the Lady Blackhawks scored three runs in the second to take control.

Kylie Erwin ended with two hits for the Pantherettes.
