Bonnie Joan Schaffer, 87, of Gravette, went to be with our Lord and Savior on Oct. 8, 2023. She was born July 1, 1936, in Rock, Kan., to Joseph and Esther Alexander.
Bonnie will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. She loved us all, but those grandchildren filled her heart with joy, as did all children.
She was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, William "Pop" Schaffer; daughter, Beverly Stidham; and siblings, Glynn, Sam, Stella, Leroy, Levern, Dale, Joe, Edna, Ellen and Wendell.
She is survived by her sons, Billy Schaffer (Gaye) and Bobby Schaffer (Sandy), both of Gravette; siblings, Billy Alexander, Xollie Buffer and Betty Wikins (Bud); 10 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2023, at Bella Vista Funeral Home, 2258 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista, with Jheri Roberts officiating.
