Helen Amelia Quayle, 85, of Gravette, Ark., died at her home on Aug. 29, 2023.

She was born July 21, 1938, in Gravette to George Varner and Margurite (Todd) Dryden.

She is preceded in death by both parents; her husband, John J. Quayle Jr.; brothers, Clyde, Richard, Doodle, and Steve Varner; son, James "Jim" Quayle; son-in-law, Charlie Folger; and aunt Myrtle Todd.

She is survived by her children, Debbie Folger, Eddie Cochran and wife Julie, Virgil Waeltz and wife Cheryl, Eric Jonsson and wife Monica, Tony Morris, and daughter-in-law Teresa Quayle; brothers, John Dryden and Paul Varner; sisters, Lura Miller, Sue Moore and husband Terry, Mary Wilkins, Becky Pierce, Anita Pedersen; grandchildren, Chuck Folger and wife Andrea, Adam Folger and wife Robin, Kristy Roberts and husband Troy, Mandy Varner and husband Michael, Jessie Varner and husband Jeremy, Jerry Waeltz and wife Kelly, Joshua Waeltz, and Aubrey Johnson; great-grandchildren, Lauren, Noah, Tyler, Lee, Logan, Bella, Jerry Lee, Reileigh and Jase; great-great grandchildren, Addley, Scarlet, Ava, Decan, Skyler and Riley.
