Maysville News

It sure was like fall on Sunday. It was cold that morning and having the heat felt good. I guess we just as well get used to it for it is November.

Patti King of Lowell visited her parents, Jack and Sylvia Tucker, on Saturday and spent the night. They enjoyed the time together. She was visiting Ronnie and Debbie Sims Sunday and planned to spend the night with her parents again Sunday night.

Guess we will have to get used to the time change again. The Daylight Saving Time ended Saturday night. There was a lot of clock changing Saturday evening.

The "crafts and more" event that the E.H. Club held Saturday at the community center was a success. They had eight booths and the food booth. The weather was nice for it.

Shelly Bishop visited her grandparents, Jack and Sylvia Tucker, one day last week. They all enjoyed that day.

Tuesday was the big election. Hope people got out and voted. They say the early voting went over real well here at Gravette and other places.

My daughter-in-law, Judy Tucker of Bella Vista, came by for a short visit when she got off work at Gravette at early voting. Clifton also came by a while one day. I'm always glad for them to come by.

E.H. Club members at Maysville, remember this Friday, Nov. 7, is our fall council meeting in Rogers.
