Foreign exchange student greeted by governor

GRAVETTE -- Julia Gehmacher, an exchange student attending Gravette High School who is from Salzburg in Germany, recently visited the Arkansas State Capitol in Little Rock.

State Senator Jim Hendren was kind enough to host her at the Capitol and recognized Julia in the state senate, and then set up a meeting and visit with Governor Asa Hutchinson, who took time out of his busy schedule to meet and visit with Julia. Julia is with the exchange program, "Youth for Understanding," and lives in Gravette with Karen Kerr, her host parent.
