WESTSIDE -- The Eagle Observer's newly redesigned website for mobile and desktop platforms debuted last week.
Readers and viewers will receive the same content and local journalism but in a cleaner, more appealing format.
The changes were made based on reader feedback. However, additional thoughts and recommendations from readers are welcomed.
Improvements readers and viewers should notice immediately include:
• Faster load times.
• Responsive layout that improves both the appearance and functionality of the site regardless of the device used to access it. The improvement to the mobile web experience is especially significant.
• A front page that emphasizes the most important stories of each week, including the latest breaking news items.
• Larger photos and more videos.
• Larger text on story pages and improved tools for social media sharing and engagement
