Air Evac helicopter lands at Station No. 2

GENTRY -- An Air Evac helicopter landed inside the landing zone of Gentry Fire Station No. 2 (at the corner of Taylor Orchard and Marion Lee Roads) Thursday afternoon to transport a patient brought to the station by ambulance.

Though accident information was not yet available at press time, the Eagle Observer was able to learn that the helicopter was called to transport a patient involved in a pedestrian accident.

The landing zone is on land donated to the city by Flint Creek Power Plant.
