Health Department Inspections

Critical violations are those factors that lead to food-borne illness and must be corrected immediately. Noncritical violations are defined as items that relate to the maintenance of food operations and cleanliness.

Critical violations: An employee did not wash hands before putting on gloves.

Critical violations: All food contact surfaces must be cleaned and sanitized before opening.

Noncritical violations: Ants were entering through holes near a window. Tape needs to be removed from the stand-up mixer. The trashcan in the restroom needs a lid. Tape needs to be removed from the edges of the ceiling in the kitchen; the attic door and trim around the kitchen needs to be painted or covered with a sealant; a door needs to be installed between the kitchen and owner's office.

Critical violations: None

Noncritical violations: A shelf in the walk-in cooler needs to be repaired or replaced; a fan above the dish area needs to be cleaned. There was a condensation leak in the freezer.

La Huerta - Mobile

Critical violations: Eggs were stored above ready-to-eat food. Cut tomatoes were at 45 degrees in cold holding. There were multiple flies in the food truck.

Noncritical violations: The floor around the grill needs to be repaired.
