Wild West mystery event to benefit Gravette library

GRAVETTE -- The year is 1886. The setting is the Wild West town of Cactus Gulch. The victim is a local prospector who recently struck gold. The marshal has rounded up 10 suspects. Can you solve the mystery?

"Books and Boots" will be held from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday, April 18, at the Gravette Civic Center, 401 Charlotte Street S.E. Guests will share clues and hear reports from authorities before voting for the suspect they believe to be responsible for the crime.

Dinner will be catered by Steven Martinez, and music will be provided by Legacy Entertainment. David Barber will conduct a live auction, and Will Trentham will serve as emcee.

Tickets to the event are $40 each or $70 for two tickets. A table for eight people may be reserved at a cost of $275. Tickets are available for purchase at the Gravette Public Library through Thursday, April 9.
