SUBMITTED Sybil Harper of Gentry turns 100 years old on June 23 of this year. Sybil was married to Bud Harper and lived and raised their four children -- Sonny Harper, Sandy Thompson, LuElla McKain and Bobbie Sullivan Nolan -- in Gentry. She worked for the telephone company for 22 years. During her lifetime, she went from transportation by horse and buggy to seeing people going to the moon. When she was in her early 90s, she still helped care for the elderly by taking them to doctor's appointments or taking them a meal or an apple pie -- she loved baking pies. She now resides at Apple Creek Nursing and Rehab, 1570 W. Centerton Blvd., Centerton, AR 72719. The family is asking those who know her to send a birthday card to this wonderful lady in honor of her 100th birthday.
