Bulldogs continue winning streak by beating Highlanders

WESTSIDE --The Decatur Bulldogs continued on the road to the state playoffs with a win over the Highlanders in Eureka Springs Thursday night.

The game with the Lincoln Wolves on April 20 was canceled after a late April snow dropped about a half-inch of the frozen liquid on the soccer field at Bulldog Stadium. So the Bulldogs hit the road for a match at Eureka Springs High School.

It was all Bulldogs as Decatur took the conference victory, 3-0, over the Highlanders.

The Decatur Bulldogs close out the 2021 soccer season with two matches at home and one on the road. The Bulldogs return to Decatur for a match with Lead Hill on April 27. Decatur travels to Bergman for the final road contest of the regular season on April 29. The Bulldogs return to Bulldog Stadium May 3 for a local match against the Life Way Christian Warriors from Centerton. All matches are scheduled for a 5 p.m. start.
