Reyes earns soccer honors

GENTRY -- Edgar Reyes, a graduating senior from Gentry High School, received 4A all-state honors for the third year in a row.

According to assistant boys soccer coach Jamie Johnson, this is an honor no previous Gentry boys soccer player has achieved. Reyes was selected as one of 13 chosen by the coaches in the conference.

Reyes also set a new school record of 17 goals for the season in boys soccer. He averaged 1.8 goals a game. He was also selected as 4A West all-conference and offensive player of the year.
