GRAVETTE -- In a game of fouls and quick offense, Gravette tipped off against Gentry Tuesday for a home-court victory.

The Gentry Pioneers (3-7) came up short of the Gravette Lions (12-4) with a final score of 65-32. Matt Busch's team came out strong and fast against the Pioneers.

A Lion leader of the first half in points was junior Gunnar Woolard. Scoring 15 points by the middle of the second quarter, Woolard and his team seemed to take control on offense for the Lions.

With a lead of 48-31 at the end of the third quarter, Gentry's Hayden Henry and Garret Jech were responsible for 26 Pioneer points.

The game continued to show foul trouble for Gentry, but Gravette shuffled through the bench, allowing play time for the Lion roster.

The Gravette Lions finished at a 2-1 conference record, while the Gentry Pioneers stood at 0-3. Gravette faced Farmington, while Gentry competed against Berryville on Friday, Jan. 6.
