BENTON COUNTY -- Fourteen Benton County youth have been named State 4-H Record Book Winners for their work in various 4-H projects. The award honors members who show exceptional dedication to their projects by meticulously logging hours spent, educational experiences, leadership roles, and community service.
The winners were recognized alongside 27 other 4-H members from across the state at the State 4-H Banquet of Excellence at the University of Arkansas. Each Benton County winner will receive an all-expenses-paid trip to the November National 4-H Congress in Atlanta and a $1,000 scholarship from the Benton County 4-H Foundation.
The winning 4-H members from Benton County are:
Beef -- Bailey Malone, Logan 4-H Club, and Graceyn Moore, Town & Country Club. Moore also received a $2,000 state scholarship.
Animal Science -- Addison Robins and Emma Millsap, Bloomfield 4-H Club, and Zoey Hinojosa, Apple Spur 4-H.
Fine Arts -- Lydia Brown, Bloomfield 4-H, and Krystal Estrada, Battlefield 4-H Club.
Sportsfishing -- Kolby Campbell, ACE 4-H Club.
Horse -- Lillian Clinehens, Horsemanship 4-H Club.
Outdoor Adventures -- Ramsey Puryear, Ozark Youth Shooting Sports 4-H Club.
Health and Fitness -- Zach Hinojosa, Apple Spur 4-H.
Agriculture -- Emily Jackson, Logan 4-H.
Fabrics and Fashions -- Lillian Swarengin, Town & Country 4-H Club.
Leadership -- Brooklyn Luedecke, Bloomfield 4-H Club.
Additionally, several past state record book winners from Benton County received scholarships:
$2,000 scholarships -- Kenlee Harris, Town and Country 4-H; Aaron Hinojosa, Apple Spur 4-H; and Caroline Epperson, OYSS.
$1,000 scholarships -- Daniel Darnell, Apple Spur 4-H; and Kallie Franks, Logan 4-H.
