GENTRY — The newly formed Ambassador Committee of the Gentry Senior Activity Center held its first meeting on Thursday, July 30.
Officers were elected and several ideas for the upcoming year were planned. Three fundraisersare planned before the end of the year - September 11, October 9 and December 4.
The committee also discussed the need to raise attendance at the senior center and proposed a health fair for 2010.
Christmas plans are also in being discussed.
The committee was formed to help with planning and welcomes ideas and suggestions.
